I've had a very similar experience--on my Mac it hangs up at 22% for about a minute but then loads and everything's fine.

I had a couple minute wait at 22%.  Didn't notice exactly how long cause I was playing Madden, but it stayed there for a couple snaps.  It does eventually load, and since I'm rarely in a hurry when I'm opening the game, I don't mind.  Every version has taken a little longer and little longer for my system to load.

Seems like another league has the same issue of the hang at 22% with the conversion on the OOTP boards.  Wonder if there is a "bug" ?

Mine pauses at 22%, but only for a few seconds...probably less than 10. Not a big deal at all for me, since I always load OOTP and then go on to something else. It always takes a while to open, no matter what league I'm working with, so I don't have the patience to sit and watch it load.

OK, I've got it.  Downloaded and exported.

Mine paused at 22% as well, but then continued, no overall problem.

Okay, here's a little bit of an update.

The original file works fine - that would be the one with the first catobase import.  So, the problem appears to be with a league file that I restored from a backup in 9.2.2 that was backed up pre-patch.

Since the new file and the old file are identical except for a few updated logos (well, more than a few; I've been finding and adding them for the minor league teams that don't have any yet), I will see if the exports work okay.

Assuming they do, we should be fine.

I'm getting the 22% hang as well.  I know I complain a lot, but there are a lot of rough edges to this this game.   ::)

Okay, fellas...

I'm 99% sure I've got the stalling issue fixed.

I'll make a new large league file today, and if it is still happening to you after you update the league file, try deleting the NPBL save you have now and start from scratch.

We'll pull this fill from within the game?

If so, will we have to redo changes made and sent over the weekend?

The problem SHOULD be fixed if you pull the file from within the game...  but if it doesn't fix it, try re-downloading the new full or smaller league files (just updated on the Pastime Press front page).

No re-exports necessary, all team that exported imported just fine.

Oh, and while I'm at it, the in-game updated file is not quite ready... still working on getting it smaller.

Okay, I think we are good now.  Anyone wanna try updating the league file from in-game and tell me what happens?

first time, it hung at 48% and then gave me an error.

second time, no problems.  Reported 10 files had been successfully updated and all is well, but... only teams from the FFL North are in the game.  all other teams, including Rhode Island, are gone.

Trying for a 3rd time now... okay 180 files updated successfully and all seems well.  All the teams are back and all the transactions I exported are in the new league file.  Looks good.
