Pennsylvania's Andy Dwyer Calling it Quits
Thursday, September 10th, 2076
Andy Dwyer is known as one of the hardest workers in NPBL, but that body of work will come to a close at season's end.
"I'm going to hang up the spikes," the 39-year-old Pennsylvania Freedom starting pitcher confirmed today. "I've busted my butt for years for this sport and I'm grateful for all that I've accomplished in baseball."
During his career the 39-year-old Dwyer has piled up 3822 innings. Over that time, he has fanned 3604 batters, walked 651 and put up a 2.39 ERA. His lifetime won-lost mark is 278-118 and opposing clubs have hit .226 against him.
