Draft Discussion/Link
« on: February 11, 2014, 10:31:13 AM »
The draft is all set to go.

It looks like we have two teams to fill, Ohio and Washington.  They've been set on auto so we can start, but they may change to manual if I find an owner before the draft ends.

The pre-drafting is underway and the LIVE draft is scheduled for 8pm ET Thursday night at the usual place:

I'm not seeing players in the Draft Warroom. I'm sure you know but just a heads up.

I've fixed the original problem, but now there's a new one!

I had entered the first two picks (a CPU pick and my pick) into the game and then uploaded new reports.  Those two players are no longer in the draft pool, and I cannot just skip the first two picks... so...  working on a solution.

I'm heading out to work the NCSU-WFU game, but when I get home I'll try to figure something out.

Feel free to make lists in the down time.

Pick two players extremely unlikely to be taken during the draft and use them as placeholders?

Although now that I think about it that would screw up the draft history.

Strange. Maybe re-export the draft pool from the game and re-upload/import into Statslab?

I think the issue is he already entered those two picks in-game.

I couldn't figure out how to clone them and get them into the draft pool so I just cloned two draftees and renamed them, and I'll delete them after the draft.

Should be good to go now!

Yeah sadly not an option in the game in the case of a mistake. There really should be a Commish/Admin option to undo a pick in the game.
