General Discussion / Re: The Official 2077 Discussion Thread
« on: December 03, 2018, 01:20:15 PM »

I was trying to figure out if there was a spoiler tag on this messageboard, but I give up.  I'm just going to spoil it.

Congrats Fred.  Well done forming that team.  I got you in 7 games back in '74, so it's only right you take this one in 7 games.  I'm happy with my team though.  They frustrated me early in the season (20-29 by the end of May), but they pulled things together at the end of the season when it mattered most.

I've got no changes.  Just in case you are able to sneak in another sim today.

All 4 series went to 7 games.

Spoiler alert

Also, Nova Scotia came back after being down 3-0.
Three out of four division winners were knocked out.

So I'll face Tennessee.  Their splits on the year:
Record versus LHP   16-28, .364 PCT
Record versus RHP   80-38, .678 PCT

I think I'm going to be starting some southpaws in this series.

Sim Instructions / Re: Massachusetts

Will try to get the latest patch and re-export.  In case I don't, the only change I wanted was:

Make Jesse Morris the starter for the next game and go to a strict order.  I would like the starting pitchers for the last three games to be: Morris, Noble, Roberts.

Thanks

Everything is updated.

We have just 1 full sim left this season!

In the FFL, Michigan is trying to steal the final playoff spot from Pennsylvania, while New Jersey is still alive and Florida has a slim chance at the postseason as well.

In the GEL, it looks like everyone knows whether they'll be in the postseason or not, but there's still some jockeying for seeding going on.

Massachusetts and Nova Scotia really fighting it out for the lead in the FFL North.  I think in the last three sims, whatever the Patriots record is for a the sim, the Fishermen have pretty much the exact same record.  In this upcoming sim, the two teams play each other in a three-game series that could decide it.

Hey guys, keep on drafting on the boards, and I'm still planning on completing the draft Monday night...  We have power so that's good.  Also, I'm taking a road trip to the Kansas City @ Pittsburgh NFL game today-tomorrow, so I might not be online much until Monday morning.

Assuming that you're not a fan of defense, that was a great game to go to.

James O'Slattery was demoted to AAA last season.  Once there, he announced that he was going to retire at seasons' end.  I pulled him up with September roster expansion so he could get a final curtain call and... he didn't retire!   :-\

Love this, I may have to copy it from ya. Where are you getting the draft histories?

I have some draft history I can get you if you like.  I compiled all the rounds 1-4, as far as what team made the selection.  From there, I don't have every player that was drafted, but I have anybody who was anybody.

I'd take a copy of this for Virginia if it's handy. My email is [firstname] at [lastname] dot org (it's a google acct so sharing within drive should work).

Sure.  File uploaded!

I made the whole folder viewable by anyone who has the link.  You should be able to access it already, but if something's not working, let me know and do a direct share to your email.
